It does not cover the Pindot software itself. Pindot is installed and run inside our customers' own infrastructure, and we do not receive the logs, records, questions or answers it processes. How that data is handled is set out in the agreement between Pindot and each customer.

Information you give us. When you request a demo we ask for your name, work email, company, job title, team size, how you would run Pindot, and anything you choose to tell us about what you'd like to see. When you contact us we ask for your name, email, optionally your company, a topic and your message.

Information collected when you visit. Like any website, ours is served by a hosting provider that processes technical information needed to deliver pages to you, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of each request, and may keep it in server logs for a short period for security and reliability.

What we do not collect. This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. The only thing it stores on your device is your light or dark theme choice, kept in your browser's local storage and never sent to us.

• To reply to your request or message, and to arrange and run a demo. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and, where you are asking about becoming a customer, on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
• To keep the forms working and free of abuse. To stop repeated submissions, your IP address is held in memory for up to ten minutes when you submit a form. It is not stored or forwarded. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure.
• To meet legal obligations, where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.

We do not sell your personal data, use it for automated decision-making, or add you to a marketing list without asking.

We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our instructions: the company that hosts this website, and the tool we use to receive form submissions. They may not use it for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Some of our service providers may process data outside your country. Where they do, we rely on an adequacy decision or on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect it.
